The Proposal On The Social Innovation Of Biodiversity Solution.

            Biodiversity refers to the number of genes, plants, human organisms and biological populations within a given species and within a specified geographical area, spanning from the smallest broadcast biome to the worldwide biosphere. As my reflection back then of my reflection I have mentioned about the endangered species, that need our attention. If there are no attention about this endangered species, they may extinct from this earth forever and the next generation may not know about its existence before.

            My place is a tourist spot, known as one of the best resort in Malaysia due to the geographical, that have many island and marine ecosystem and I lived at Semporna, Sabah. There are many marine life and the most famous is turtle, turtle is one of an endangered species. The main risk to marine life is a plastic disposal or the plastic material. There are many marine life that are dead or trapped in plastic and been eaten is still stored in his body system. While when cleaning dishes, massive plastic waste may be extracted from larger fish, the major issue is the micro-plastic consumed by small fish and smaller shellfish, which are undetectable and can seep into the contents and can pollute the ecosystem.

So in this proposal I would like to suggest to build a machine named “Get Money”. This machine is about to give a money when plastic is placed into the machine. Basically the plastic bag which we use to save after buying goods is still widely used whether it is given for free or sold.  So for the social innovation I suggest to every purchase using plastic is subject to a deposit. The deposit can be returned in the machine provided that placed at mall, store, supermarket. Indirectly the locals or tourists who come will maintain cleanliness as well as help the less fortunate to continue living. It also will less the plastic disposal into the water and encourage people to recycle the plastic.
